Global TTO Panel: Success Stories of Commercialization
PatSnap presents The TTO as Wellspring: Commercialized Technology Success Stories as part of Frontier 2021.
Last week we announced our new Innovation Academy ‘Academic in Residence’ program. The purpose of this initiative is to enhance the content and resources we provide aspiring and professional innovators.
Joe Sekhon, Senior Lecturer in Intellectual Property (IP) at Portsmouth University, an entrepreneur, and the Founder of iPass (Intellectual Property Advice for Student Start-ups), is at the helm of this program as our Lead Academic in Residence.
With Joe’s assistance, we are bringing together Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) from a number of universities to discuss some of the best ways TTOs have partnered with companies to commercialize research and innovation.
To learn more about TTOs and how to find the right Academic partners, join us for Frontier 2021, an annual user conference curated to connect the world’s brightest, most innovative minds. Our panel discussion, The TTO as Wellspring: Commercialized Technology Success Stories, will discuss examples of commercialization through partnerships including how to build mutually beneficial relationships, measure success, pitfalls to avoid, and advice on how to make it work.
This panel features a diverse group of experts including:
- Joe Sekhon (chair), Senior Lecturer in IP at University of Portsmouth
- Karen Temple, Commercialization Manager, University of Toronto
- Curtis Broadbent, Licensing Manager, University of Rochester
- Mark Barber, Commercialization Manager, University of Portsmouth
Happening on October 14th, at 1pm EST. Reserve your spot at Frontier now. We look forward to seeing you there!
