The present invention is directed toward secure access systems. Specifically, a method and system is provided that enhances the security of unidirectional communication protocols used in access control systems, such as the Wiegand protocol. The enhancements may include obfuscation of data, a two-way packet-mode communications, and blind synchronization of pseudo-random number generators.

An antenna array is provided for an RFID reader, which includes a first reader antenna tuned to operate at a first frequency and a second reader antenna tuned to operate at a second frequency different from the first frequency. The first and second antennas are preferably arranged in an overlapping arrangement or an opposing magnetic flux arrangement to reduce the effect of antenna self resonance.

From the record · verbatim“HID Global Corporation and ASSA ABLOY AB (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) and WaveLynx Technologies Corporation (“WaveLynx” or “Defendant”) stipulate as follows: WHEREAS, on January 20, 2023, WaveLynx, a company based in Broomfield, Colorado, filed a Motion to Transfer the case to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado (“District of Colorado”) (D.I. 28), which is fully briefed (D.I. 29-31, 36, 40); WHEREAS, on April 19, 2023, the parties submitted a proposed scheduling order (D.I. 45), which has not been entered; WHEREAS, the parties, having further met and conferred, agree to transfer this case to the District of Colorado; IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED AND AGREED, by and between counsel for the parties and subject to the approval of the Court, that: ( 1) the case is hereby transferred to the District of Colorado; and (2) WaveLynx’s Motion to Transfer (D.I. 28) is denied as moot, without prejudice to either party.”
